Black Screen after Install?

Hi guys, I was able to install Jutland, the intro videos are running, version is 1.1.6.2, but after that I only see the blank window with Jutland, which is black and it stops for about a minute, then closes by itself. How can I fix this?


I have Windows 10, a Readeon 5500 xT 8GB
CPU is a ryzen 7 3700X 8, RAM 16 GB ddr 4

EDIT: I found the Error, i was log out and now its load an Update

Make sure the StormPowered client is running in online mode, you can verify this at the top of the client window and then try launching the game directly from your games list.

I had the same problem that Tom (support) helped me fix. The black screen was rectified by deleting the DG.cfg file and resetting the game's setting to the default. On my laptop, the root cause of the problem appears to be that Jutland can no longer run in full screen mode. Any attempt to select one of the 16 or 32 bit resolutions from the drop down menu in the graphics settings panel locks up the game as it unsuccessfully attempts to reset the 3D device.

I think the program needs an update to make it compatible with modern hardware.

You can verify your online status at the top of the client window, right above where it says "Community." It will either say Online or Offline followed by your account name. If the client is in Offline mode, go to the top-left corner of the client window and click Manage > Online/Offline to set it to Online mode and vice versa.
